She first became known for her break-out role on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, one of the highest-rated internationally syndicated shows of all time.
Chase's huge, international fan base saw her rise from a four-line role in one episode to a five-year story arc, which prompted USA Networks to begin Chase's hosting career with a news-magazine talk show, Sci-Fi Entertainment. In the 2005-06 season, Chase was tapped by Encore's STARZ On Demand to host their Only Here Channel.
Known to millions of fans worldwide, TV Guide Online Reader's Poll voted Chase the "#1 Favorite Science Fiction Actress on Television," and Sci-Fi Universe Magazine honored Chase as one of the "Top 20 People to Watch in Hollywood."  Having released and gained international recognition with her debut CD “Thrill of the Chase,” Chase released her follow-up EP “Ad Astra!” and the limited edition “Crystal Anniversary: Songs From the Holosuite” (in honor of Deep Space Nine’s fifteenth anniversary). Blair has appeared in dozens of movies, TV shows and performed on Broadway (in Grease as Rizzo).  One of Blair's latest appearances occurred in the Supernatural episode where a brief homage was paid to her Exorcist fame in the closing dialogue of the episode, when Dean says that she "looks familiar" and expresses a craving for pea soup.  Wild Horse Hank and Savage Streets were released on DVD this September 2008.  Blair has long been active in charities involving prevention of cruelty to animals with her own Linda Blair WorldHeart Foundation, and is a committed vegan. She received the City of Los Angeles Proclamation for her work with abandoned and abused animals.

Chattanooga's premier flat-track roller derby league!  The roller derby of today is a great deal like the derby of the 70's, except its no longer played on banked tracks, and there are no longer any choreographed fights.  Now it's less like WWF and more of a straightforward sport.  Though modern roller derby maintains a spirit of quirkiness, it has developed into a grassroots, DIY movement.  Over the past five years, WFTDA (Women's Flat Track Derby Association) has become a national association of of over 60 teams, establishing a standard of rules and conduct, as well as coordinating annual national championships.  Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville, Huntsville, Birmingham, and a bunch of other cities in our area already have well established leagues.
The Chattanooga Roller Girls are very much in the beginning stages of forming our own league, but we aspire to one day be a part of WFTDA.  We practice twice a week and are hoping to procure and train enough players to put on an public intra-league bout by early spring 2009.  We are a very diverse group of women: students, professionals, mothers, ...our oldest player is in her forties.  Anyone woman over 21 is eligible to join up - no experience necessary. All you need to be to be is interested, fun, and available.  We are also in need of refs, scorekeepers, announcers, and cheerleaders - so if you're male or too young, don't despair!
We look forward to seeing you all on skates or bleachers in the very near future!.  Be sure to check us out on Myspace: chattanoogarollergirls   We are Chattanooga's premier flat-track roller derby league!
