Connooga is proud to present a
competition that will be fun and entertaining not only for everyone
viewing it but also for participants. This competition will be open for
anyone and everyone in costume or not to get up on stage and show off
your creativeness. This can be done by singing, dancing, acting, or just
plain doing crazy stuff on stage. This contest will focus less on a
person/groups actual costume and instead let everyone be judged on their
acts allowing for people that can’t make their own costumes to still
have a chance to win over those that can by showing off their talents
outside of sewing
and gluing. Join us Sunday for something no one will want to miss. It’s
a great way to send the weekend off with a bang.

CD. This includes but is not limited to Voice dubbing, music, or sound

4. To have music or dialog accompany your presentation,
you must
pre-record it on a CD and you MUST bring the CD when you register so
that the track can be reviewed, approved, and loaded onto our
equipment. Once approved, your CD will be kept by the staff in case the
track has to be re-copied. On your tech sheet, you will indicate when
the track is to be played during your performance. This will be either
during the Emcee introduction or after it. Untested, unapproved, new or
changed CDs will not be accepted after registration has closed. If your
track exceeds the time limits, it will be truncated (cut off at the
time limit).

this rule will be removed from the stage immediately. Your CD will be

for set-up activities and information at 10:30 AM. We will do pre-show

dressing rooms; show up ready to go
onstage.

All performances will be required to write a short introduction for
themselves or their group. This introduction will include a name for the
group or individual and a title for the skit and a small introduction
of what will happen during the skit. This doesn’t mean the full skit has
to be given to the Emcee, but just a brief synopsis or even a witty
comment about how to start your skit.
These rules and extra
information may be put up as the convention gets closer, but everyone
involved will be notified if anything changes.
